Installation Sunday at Koerner Heights

Life's blessings simply abound at times. We experienced many this last weekend. Sunday was Russ' installation for his new pastoral positions. Our families were able to join us, including a surprise visit from my mom and sister as they rang the door bell at 8:40 on Sunday morning. We couldn't believe it. The boys were only missing one grandpa that weekend. And we did miss you, and thought of you often!

The church service and installation was very special. A brass quartet played that morning and was outstanding. Everything has been so different for us, but each Sunday we feel more at home in our new church. What a kind, loving, and generous church. The service was followed by a church potluck. We have also benefited from a grocery shower, which included a can of spinach for Russ to recharge after a youth event sometime.

We really are grateful. And again, humbled from the attention and love shown to us. God is so good. We want to share goodness in return.
