I am so very thankful for time spent with family! Once again, we were all able to be together.

Ryan has been dating the sweetest girl, Amanda, for quite some time now. She is part of the family, and we love her.
They have a new puppy named Katie. 
We were in Colorado over Thanksgiving with my family. We were blessed with perfect travel weather and a wonderful time spent altogether, as that doesn’t happen very often. As a result, we tried to take some family photos. They are full of love, even if it is a challenge to get seven grandchildren to look and smile at the camera at the same time. As things were going, we didn’t even try to get everyone together; mainly focused on grandparents and grandchildren.

Dellen is one of the happiest children I have ever known! It is a joy to celebrate him and who he is! We love that precious six year old!
We met Papa and Mema in Oklahoma City today to celebrate three birthdays that happen within a month’s time. This summer the boys had wanted to go see the dinosaur fossils at the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History at the University of Oklahoma. It finally happened about three months later, and we met on what turned out to be a beautiful Saturday.
We enjoyed some time in the afternoon at a nearby park, before driving just north of OKC to go to Pops, a fun Route 66 gas station/restaurant that sells over 500 flavors of soda pop! I’d love to take all our visitors there if it were only a little closer. A fun place! And the perfect ending to a fun day spent together!
