June Visit From My Mom

The day after we returned from Hillsboro, my mom drove out from Colorado Springs and spent four nights with us. It was a scorcher of a week (highs in the 105 range...although now we've been 111, so that was a cool week).

Right away on Tuesday, we were able to go ride combines during wheat harvest with some friends. What a treat for Mom, as it had been nearly 30 years since she last rode. We all took turns and had a great time.

Later in the evening, and two other times that week, we went to tournament ball games for Sam. Below is his Coach Pitch team. The week was spent at a rather leisurely pace; enjoying ball games...(it was special that Mom was able to see Sam receive his trophy. This picture is actually from Coach Pitch, but the moment was quite similar.)...watching the boys on their new trampoline... ...watching movies, eating lots of food, having motorcycle rides, and just enjoying easy and pleasant company! Miss you Mom, come back soon!

Wow, spammers are annoying!

That is one snazzy combine! Glad your mom had a good time here in our little thrillsville. =)

Wow, combines are fancy these days! Looks like so much fun! And isn't Sam handsome! He looks great out there, and I'm sure he plays just as well!
