Horn Creek

We strategically planned our travels so that we would be able to pick up Russ after Senior High camp and go along with him as he did some district work checking out a new camp location for next summer’s senior high camp. Reunited with Russ, our family drove into Southern Colorado and onto Horn Creek to check out their facilities.  The drive was gorgeous. And we were together again! We stayed in this very rustic little cabin with all the miller moths. I think it was called Grey Wolf. Another family was with us checking out the camp and the boys had fun together. The camp director made an error telling these two boys they could take home anything. We came home with several large rocks and sticks that somehow managed to look like arsenal. Before we left in the afternoon the next day, swimming and waterslides were enjoyed! Fun times!
