4th of July

Russ came home from junior high camp at 5:00 on the 4th of July. We went immediately into work mode doing laundry and mowing and packing for his departure at 8:00 the next morning for the high school youth mission trip. In our 14 years of marriage, we’ve hardly celebrated a 4th of July together, as he is usually gone to this particular junior high camp. But every so often, the days land just right as they did this year. The boys were more than thrilled when Russ arrived with some small firecrackers. We are continually grateful for our freedoms and all that is good.
